2019 CLASSES

Please note, all classes will start the week of June 17, and we skip the week of July 4th.

Noyes Park Golf Course is a 9-hole course for adult and junior beginners or players who seek to improve their short game. It was designed to stress the fundamentals and the short game. Golfers of all ages are welcomed. Course par is 27, Length of course is 809 total yards.

Pre-PLAYer Program
Pre Player is an introduction to golf and the Life Skills for the younger juniors with little or no experience.
9 weeks in length, 60 minutes per week, (same day and time), and many options are available.  This level includes some golf club practice, plus other fun athletic activities that mimic the golf swing and playing a golf hole.
Cost: $45.00 per junior for 9 week program
Recommended ages 5-9

PLAYer Program
Tee it up for the first time and learn the game of golf and The First Tee’s Code of Conduct. Your child will learn a basic knowledge of the golf swing.
9 weeks in length, 90 minutes per week, (same day and time), and many options are available.
Cost: $67.50 per junior for 9 week program
Recommended ages 7-9

Player level certification (to move up to Par level includes playing one 9 hole round keeping score (no required score (honesty), 9 hole putting course keeping score (honesty), playing fast, safe, and courteous, and correctly answering 10 written or verbal questions.

Pre-PAR Program
Focus on interpersonal skills and self-management skills on and off the golf course. This program is designed for those juniors who need a little more help before advancing to PAR, and have completed the PLAYer level Certification Requirements.
9 weeks in length, 90 minutes per week, (same day and time), and many options are available.
Cost: $67.50 per junior for 9 week program
Recommended Ages 9-12

PAR Program
A series of group lessons for the junior golfer that has an introduction to the game of golf prior to these lessons, and have passed PLAYer Certification Requirements. These lessons re-introduce proper fundamentals of the golf swing and how to grow a repetitive golf swing. Rules, Etiquette, and The First Tee Life Skills are also included in this level.
9 weeks in length, 120 minutes per week, (same day and time), and many options are available.
Cost: $90.00 per junior for 9 week program
Recommended Ages 9-12

First Tee Teens Program  This program is designed for juniors 12 and older with previous golf playing experience wanting to take their game and life skills to the next level.  This program will cover both PLAYer and PAR level curriculum material, as well as more advanced parts of the game of golf.

9 weeks in length, 120 minutes per week, (same day and time)
Cost: $90.00 per junior for 9 week program
Ages 12 and up with golf experience

Determine your Child’s Level

Pre-PLAYer: Ages 5 and up with no experience needing an introduction to golf and The Life Skills.  This level includes some golf activities, plus other fun athletic activities that mimic the golf swing and playing a golf hole.

PLAYer: All those NEW to The First Tee ages 7 and up.  A combination of golf clubs and Short Game equipment to expose the kiddos to the game while making it a fun experience.

Player level certification (to move up to Par level includes playing one 9 hole round keeping score (no required score (honesty), 9 hole putting course keeping score (honesty), playing fast, safe, and courteous, and correctly answering 10 written or verbal questions.

Pre-PAR: For those juniors, who have passed PLAYer Certification, but need additional time to be able to complete the PAR Certification Requirements.

PAR: Current participants age 9 and up who have passed or can pass PLAYer Level Certification Requirements, and / or have had exposure to the game.

First Tee Teens (BIRDIE Level):  Designed for juniors 12 and older with golf experience,  wanting to take their game and life skills to the next level.  This program will cover both Player and Par level material, as well as more advanced instruction and practice and on course experience

 

**The goal is to complete all levels of The First Tee Curriculum, regardless of age when starting the program. Juniors will be grouped into similar age groups when the need arises**
